Reservation Terms & Cancellation Policy

1. Payment Options
a. Deposit and Payment Schedule: A non-refundable $1,000 deposit is required to secure your reservation. Within 7 days of making the deposit, 50% of the remaining balance must be paid. The final 50% of the remaining balance is due no later than 90 days prior to the start of the experience. By providing the deposit, you authorize us to charge the card on file according to this payment schedule.

b. Full Payment: Alternatively, you may choose to pay the full trip price upfront at the time of booking.

c. Missed or Late Payments: Failure to make payments according to the schedule will result in cancellation of your reservation, and all amounts paid, including the deposit, will be forfeited. No refunds will be provided for missed or late payments. Areum Society LLC is not responsible for any bank fees, declined transactions, or delays in payment processing.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
a. Cancellation Within 7 Days of Deposit: You may cancel within 7 days of paying the deposit. The $1,000 deposit is non-refundable, but you will not be charged for the remaining balance.

b. Cancellations After 7 Days and Up to 90 Days Before the Trip: A partial refund of 50% of the total trip cost will be issued. The $1,000 deposit and cancellation fee are non-refundable.

c. No Refund Within 90 Days of the Trip: Cancellations within this period are not eligible for a refund. However, participants may transfer or gift their spot to another person, provided the substitution meets all eligibility requirements for the trip.

d. Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date. Refunds will only be issued to the original form of payment. Participants are responsible for any fees charged by their bank or credit card provider.

3. Changes and Substitutions
We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, activities, accommodations, or any other aspects of the trip. If changes are necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide reasonable alternatives or compensation. Substitutions or transfers made by participants must be communicated to us in writing and approved at least 14 days prior to the start of the experience.

 

4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and lost or damaged belongings. Areum Society LLC is not responsible for costs or losses incurred due to a participant’s failure to obtain adequate insurance.

5. Liability and Participant Responsibility
Participants acknowledge that they are responsible for their own health and well-being and must ensure they are physically prepared for all activities included in the Areum Society experience. Areum Society, LLC is not liable for injuries, medical conditions, or complications arising before, during, or after the trip. Participants agree to comply with all local laws, customs, and trip guidelines provided by Areum Society or its partners.
